Our Story

How we started
Back in 2023 I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. To help me navigate through this change to a gluten-free diet, I began to cook and bake more and more. Cooking and baking my own food gave me a sense of security that I could be sure my food was not cross contaminated with gluten.
My aim is to create a brand that produces high quality gluten-free products, that everyone can be sure are safe to consume, without lacking in flavour or texture unlike many commercial gluten-free products. Every brownie, cookie, and cupcake is handmade in small batches, using carefully selected ingredients and baked fresh to order to maintain that high quality of produce.
I have always loved baking, especially brownies and cupcakes. My first memories of baking as a child include making chocolate fudge brownies with my mum - a recipe that has stayed with me throughout the years. Baking has always been a way for me to share happiness with the people around me.
Whisk Bakery was a product of my desire to share my creations with the wider community, and give the confidence to other Coeliacs to enjoy freshly baked goods that are not available everywhere. From this aspiration to bake, I now wish to expand on my catalogue of gluten free treats for all to enjoy.
